What's wrong with my friends peace Lilly?

Does the pot have drainage? Does the plant have lots of light? The small new leaves might mean under-feeding so it could need fertilizer and more light. Peace lilies love water so i’m not too worried about the soil which looks damp

No the pot doesn't have drainage. Yes it has plenty of light, it's in a north facing window. I don't think it's ever been fed. Ok I was worried about the soil as I haven't cared for one before. I was thinking it could be a fungal infection or something like that? Or possibly pot bound or old soil.

Definitely repot to something with drainage and inspect the roots for rot.
