This aloe needs help 😕 A friend gave it to me so that I could hopefully save it🤞 I’m not sure if it needs to be repotted but they said that it never left its window (they said that the window is east facing but pretty shaded by another house) and that it is watered regularly. Any advice on how to revive it or any problems such as root rot or overwatering? It feels a little squishy…

Looks over watered and like the soil isn’t draining well. My aloe does best in a chunky mix somewhere sunny and I can totally forget about it and it thrives.

It may also be a little sunburnt. Not sure where you live if that’s a possibility.
