Hello Newbie here! I am having a real problem with whiteflies on my basils and oreganos. I have Neem oil, but I heard you should not put it on the basil/oregano due the oil burning the foilage?! 😞 I have sticky traps, but they will only last so long. I have brought them in due to the weather, and I sure don't want an infestation in my house. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! They are also thriving, and I don't want the life sucked out of them. I have a sweet, cinnamon, Thai, and a regular basil plant.

Work Mosquito Bits into the soil to kill the larvae of white flies and fungus gnats along with mosquitoes.  
Let the topsoil dry out. The larvae thrives in continuously wet soil.  
You can a use soapy dishwater solution on the leaves to kill the adults. You just have to thoroughly rinse before consuming. Good luck🍀🪴

You’ve done better with basil than I ever have! My basil always dies!!

Oh well thank you! I have 13 basil plants which 9 I have propagated from the mother plant. I thank God all my little basil have just thrived!

Tell me your secrets! Flowers and herbs always die in my care 😂 Green leaves I can do haha but anything else 💀
