# For some reason of of my leaves are starting to get wrinkly and the…

For some reason of of my leaves are starting to get wrinkly and the app says that it’s over watered but the images showed for over watered don’t show the wrinkles just the yellowing, wanted to know if anyone knows what’s happening here. It has drainage holes and I see the water drain so it’s not clogged and I water it when the app tells me which is once a week. I even have new growth coming in. Not sure if that can be another reason 🤷🏼‍♀️

I don’t know I don’t have this plant, but I will say the app is not always accurate when it comes to watering needs. I have to pay attention to the soil because some plants are still moist when it wants to water them, and some plants are getting thirsty days before I’m supposed to water them. It’s a steep learning curve if you’re new to plants like I am!

To me it looks kinda like sunburn or maybe even under watering but likely the former. Sometimes when the leaves have water on them and sun hits it it burns the tissue and that little part that had water on it dies, overall this doesn’t affect the plants health unless it becomes a large majority of the leaves

I feel like this makes total sense when I first got it I repotted it and watered it very well and had it near the light so it can dry off, so it definitely could on been a water burn
