I’m so sad! I bought this plant 9/16/23 and now all the leaves are falling. My plant is slowly deteriorating and I’m helpless.

It looks like either root rot or insufficient light. However figs just kill off the oldest leaves sometimes.are the leaves pictured the only ones dying off?

No they’ve been collectively falling off for the last couple of weeks
