# Can anyone tell me what is going wrong with my crêpe myrtle sapling?…

Can anyone tell me what is going wrong with my crêpe myrtle sapling? It was watered and fertilized yesterday. Is it still savable? Prior to this it was fertilized three weeks ago.

Why do you think something is “wrong” with it? From this photo it looks good.

Maybe I’m not looking hard enough. Also, Crepe Myrtle’s are my favorite trees.

There is red lines on the stem and a couple leaves have already died. They got kind of grayish green and died so I took them off. I know they go through dormancy but it's just a baby and it's inside. Any thoughts on with the red lines on the stem are? And why the new leaves are slightly yellow

Have you checked for insects? The lower leaf at the back looks damaged by insect. Check under the leaves.

No, the underside of leaves looks normal no bugs. It's indoors anyway
