# Help! My prayer plant has started browning at the tips of the leaves.…

Help! My prayer plant has started browning at the tips of the leaves. I currently keep her in the windowsill in the basement and water her weekly. She was doing well up until a couple weeks ago and started browning and turning yellow. I’ve had her about six months and reported about 2 months ago.

Are you watering with tap water? Sounds like what happened to mine, then I found out that the chemicals in tap water can kill them.

I’m only using filtered water 🤷‍♀️

Or it could need more humidity. Both are common issues

Mine looks like this. I only use distilled water or rain water, so I’m thinking it’s a problem with the humidity
