# We got a money tree a few weeks back! But leaves have started to turn…

We got a money tree a few weeks back! But leaves have started to turn a bit yellow.

It’s near a south facing window, in a large pot that has drainage. We were told a little yellow and falling leaves is natural given shock from transportation / delivery. However, this looks excessive.

We were also told to water every 15 days and just recently watered it and some leaves turned yellow the next day.

Any advice / thoughts?

From the little experience I have, any direct sun caused mine to wilt. I ended up putting it in a basement with an east-facing window.
