# i got this blue star fern at the sill sample sale and it's gotten…

i got this blue star fern at the sill sample sale and it's gotten progressively worse :( i've pruned off dead leaves, cleaned and neemed the leaves, and am bottom-watering it per planta's schedule. help!

do you have it near a vent or open window? might be a draft or need humidity.

i have it on the floor ~12 ft from a window and grow light

try to put it near the other plants to create more humidity. or place it near a humidifier. good luck

You should send pictures to the sill. Maybe they can help you or send you a new plant..

Ferns need a lot of light. My blue star is right under a grow light getting 800 foot candles 12 hours a day. Try putting right near your grow light.

interesting ! i always thought ferns were good with part shade. will definitely try moving it
