my aloe vera doesn’t look so healthy any advice on why this might be the case??  
the colour difference between plant a and b is really worrying me.

It looks like sunburn. Which way does your window face?

Yeah maybe the sun is too direct. Either move it back a little or put it in an east window. Probably also needs water like the other commenter said

When you water them are you doing it about once a month and pouring a ton of water? Also, it doesn’t look like the pot of the struggling plant has drainage holes.

I would repot in something with drainage holes. It looks similar to an aloe plant I had that got root rot

the plant pot does have drainage holes it’s just placed in a decorative pot
