# Hi! I have a string of pearls plant, I watered it about 2 maybe 3…

Hi! I have a string of pearls plant, I watered it about 2 maybe 3 weeks ago, and it’s started looking like this ? Not sure why as it hadn’t been watered before. Some of the pearls have gone squishy and really gross. Help please 😭

This happened to mine too, I think it’s from overwatering sadly

I would check roots for rot..

It looks like it was in the wrong soil, some parts are overwatered and that’s due to the soil staying wet for too long. They like a well draining succulent mix, salvage what you can and repot.
