can you post a pic? could be a variety of different things. Maybe start by checking for root rot from overwatering?

I just got the plant two weeks ago so I don’t think that’s the prob. I do think I over watered it. Now the people I got it from did say that I should expect to loose 20% of foliage while the tree adjusts to its new environment
