# My monstera has been doing really well since I got her two months…

My monstera has been doing really well since I got her two months ago. She’s now growing her third new leaf but I see these spots on it. Does anyone know what this is?

Unsure as I have the same thing! It caused my new leaf to die so I had to cut it back. Following for answers 💚 (I suspect mine has a fungal infection but I’m not sure)

Usually this happens when the new growth rubs against the edge of other leaves, the moss pole, etc, while coming out.

Or, at least, that’s what I’ve noticed on my leaves. None have died though
