# Does anybody have any idea what this yellow stuff is and how to get…

Does anybody have any idea what this yellow stuff is and how to get rid of it? It’s popped up in one of my miniature fern gardens, and though I sprayed fungicide on it yesterday, it doesn’t seem to have been effective. I’m concerned it will spread to my other plants because I can’t really quarantine it completely. Thanks ahead of time for your input! 🙏🏼💚

Looks like slime mold. It’s from the breakdown of organic matter in the soil. You can scrape it off if you don’t like it but it won’t harm your plants. Try to increase airflow to the pot to keep it from continuing
