# Hey guys! I have a question on my aloe. She has been alive for about…

Hey guys! I have a question on my aloe.

She has been alive for about a year or so, not sure. Her name is Bertie, after her mother plant, Bert. She has yellowing leaves, some new, and some old. She is also developing brown spots on some leaves. They aren’t bugs. Any idea what’s going on?

Sounds like over watering.

Probably. I did water early. I’ll snooze the next one!

If it continues I would pull it out gently and check the roots. It could have root rot problems. I get cactus fertilizer for mine and water every once in awhile. As it is getting closer to winter, water even less.
