My Peace Lily has blackening leaves! I’ll try to get a pic if I can… but what’s going on?!?

Are they soft or crispy? Possibly root rot…check the roots if possible

They are crispy. Idk I don’t think it’s rot, the soil is dry-ish. In fact, I need to water tomorrow.
