Hi,  
I have a few Umbrella plants pots.  
I got them because they are low maintenance and a beginner like me can keep them alive.

The leaves on a couple of them though, are sticky now and they do not look happy.  
One of my friends recommended washing the leaves with water and soap. Which I did 5-6 times. But the stickiness is not gone. And I can see very tiny bugs attached to the leaves as well. I have to scrape them off.

Please is there a solution for this?

if soap and water didn’t help. i recommend neem oil spray (smells awful) and a systematic pest treatment. prune dead leaves and let the plant dry out more in between watering
