# Hi, Hope you are having a great day. I just got a dwarf banana plant…

Hi,

Hope you are having a great day. I just got a dwarf banana plant (2 weeks ago) and it seems to be doing very bad but I don’t know what the reason could be.

I repotted it into a larger ceramic pot. I’ve been following everything on the app. Placed it near a window where it should be getting enough light. Water it every 2-3 days, mist, fertilize (again everything that the app suggests).

Does anyone know what it could be and how I could fix it?

I would really really appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance!

I would help you if I could but I don’t really know about dwarf banana plants 😞

There’s a good chance that being repotted stressed it out, and if that’s the case it may just take a little time for it to bounce back. So time is the best medicine. Assuming there’s no pests and that the general humidity isn’t too low i would guess that that’s all it is ❤️

Mine was almost dead (literally 1 leaf left) and now a couple months later it has like 5. Honestly leave it alone until it bounces back from the repot
