Hello, does anyone know why this would happen to my Aglonema? it was fine before I watered it but after watering it, the leaf became wet and translucent and smells really bad.

I would say it’s likely being overwatered

Check for root rot. Cut out dead or mushy roots. Clean with peroxide. Change the soil or let it dry out. Overwatering is common. Search the old posts for more info including drying the current soil. Good luck 🍀
