My lil pilea is getting a lot of yellowing at the bottom with many leaves falling off… any ideas what I’m doing wrong?? I know these are supposed to be easy plants lol 😅

i have found that there are always one or two leaves yellowing on my pilea, even when conditions are ideal (for indoors). there may be some exacerbating factors, like it being underwatered (which curling leaves like in the picture are an indicator of), or it may be rootbound, it may also need some fertilizer

This plant needs A LOT of light. It should be right in a west or east window sill and depending on where you are located augmented with a grow light over winter.

Thanks for the info! Oddly my twin pilea that’s further from the window is doing better 😅
