# Hello! In need of some advice for my new Black Stem Alocasia that I…

Hello! In need of some advice for my new Black Stem Alocasia that I just got from the nursery today! I noticed there’s 3 stems that are missing and have dried at the tips when I purchased it, do I need to attend to these stems or will they be fine just as is?

I would leave them for now.. more leaves may be able to grow off of the stems, or the stems may just dry up/ die on their own, then I’d remove them if so!
