Hello! I’ve owned this fiddle leaf plant about two weeks and have watered it twice, placed in inside near a window but i started to look like this. Can anyone tell me what’s the problem and any tips to try and help her?

Are the brown leaves crispy or soggy?

Losing the bottom leaves could just be it’s response to a new environment. Give it some time and keep an eye on it. It might be a good idea to give it fresh soil. Many big box plant stores aren’t very diligent on pest control so who knows what is creeping around in there. I have found that my fiddle leaf fig likes chunky soil so i usually use an orchid mix with a little bit of regular soil mixed into it. Good luck!

You also might be watering it too frequently
