Help 😭
How do you get rid of fruit flies/fungus gnats??? I spray neem oil as regularly as I can, put diatomaceous earth on the soil around the plants, and even have a trap that attracts and kills bugs… and they still won’t go away. I’ve noticed them mostly coming from my echeveria plant (a succulent not known for having pests). Any and all help is appreciated!!!

They’re attracted to moist soil so you could try bottom watering. They’re also a part of plant life to some extent. I only see them in late spring and summer. The beneficial mites I just used also took care of them

There is a very good product we use called Summit Mosquito Bits. Simple to use and effective! We simply measure out the amount advised on the package with the amount of water (we use with distilled water for certain plants too). Scoop amount into a fine strainer and set atop water balanced for approximately 30 minutes. Discard the bits and stir the water mix, water plants as usual.
I would highly recommend having a few small dishes/cups of apple cider and a couple drops of dish soap to have places near plants. The bits will get rid of the eggs the mature gnats have laid in your plant soil and the apple cider is please to the adult flying gnats so once they fly in to enjoy the cider the soap will keep them. I really hope this helps. Best wishes!
