# Not too long ago, my spinach sprout’s stem somehow got pinched and…

Not too long ago, my spinach sprout’s stem somehow got pinched and cannot hold it’s own weight. It wasn’t looking very good, but it still grew happily.

I added more soil. I’m just hoping that the pinched stem is being used as a root.
