Is this a spider plant? I’ve had real issues with this plant. It HATES being wet. So my guess is that the soil isn’t drying out like the plant would like it to and its roots are drowning.

yeah it is a spider plant, the soil is old so might try reporting the plant

It’s probably a watering issue. Could also be root bound. Check the roots and repot to a size or two larger. Use well draining soil. My older spider plants do well in a 1/2 succulent and 1/2 standard potting soil mixture. But, I water everyday in summer due to the high heat. Plus, my older plants live outside in bright indirect light.

The picture shows plants I’ve had about a week. They were bruised and battered from poor packaging. Then, I over watered forgetting the soil holds a lot more water than my current plants. They will slowly recover.

Turns out there is slight root rot and the over grown roots typical of spider plants. I am repotting.
