I cant say for 100% certainty but I’ve had something like this in my plants and it’s just some fungus (it actually means the soils heathy) and it won’t hurt your plant but it will grow little mushrooms eventually so if you want to remove them than you can. It won’t effect anything either way I don’t think.

I get this on my Christmas cactus every once in a while. Nothing else. Just the Christmas cactus. I always wonder why. It’s one of my happiest plants despite this occasional bout of fungus! I just scrape it off, chop up the top layer of soil a bit and spray a little fungicide.

it’s fungi, seems like your plant needs more airflow or less water or both. the soil level being so low in the pot is restricting airflow since there are walls of ceramic around the topsoil. i typically leave 1/2” of space, but never more than an inch

It’s called slime, mold, and it can grow on any type of soil especially if it’s moist. Nothing to worry about.
