Just received a Clusia in the mail, from Honolulu. Have never seen these things before. Not sure if it's a bug? Little brown dots coated in a hard white star-shape crust/shell that is very stuck to the leaves.

Yeesh!😬 Isolate it and treat repeatedly treat with neem oil, insecticidal soap or rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab to dab each one.
