Hello I just received my first carnivorous plant as a gift and can’t help but notice the dead leaves should I remove them or is there another solution and any tips would help

You can remove them. Totally normal for carnivorous plants to have dying leaves since after the trap eats the trap will die off.

I got it for only £3.50 at a garden store it was in bad condition but I tried to save it here is what it looks like after 2.5 weeks
