Hi all! Need some help with my monstera. In the last 3 weeks my monsters grew 2 mushrooms and one of the aerial roots has - no joke - grown 1.5-2 ft!! The plant is in north facing windows. Please send help as the plant has produced no new growth in over a month!

hi!! mushrooms are a really good sign that your soil is super healthy, but it’s up to you whether you want to leave them or pull them out. As for the aerial roots, that’s a good sign too! You may want to buy or DIY a moss pole (there are excellent videos on youtube) and redirect the roots to the pole. But you’re seeing no new leaves, hey? Have you been fertilizing your plant? Is there a sunnier/south facing window you can move your monstera to?

I’m moving it to a west facing window (sadly only have north and west) and hope that will help!! Thanks so much

My monstera seems to be concentrating on roots instead of leaves at the moment, too. I hope it will make more leaves once it’s happy with its roots 🤷🏼‍♀️
