# I was gifted a polka dot begonia and I have been taking care of it…

I was gifted a polka dot begonia and I have been taking care of it for some time now but, for some reason every leaf that comes out keeps falling off a few days after it fully unravels. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. there is also about 4 different leaves that are starting to grow out but stoped progressing on the growth.

i don’t have any begonias but in my experience new leaves will shrivel/fall off when there isn’t enough water, either in the soil or the air, and begonias love humidity. the growth could be stunted because of dry air or more likely it sounds like under-watering

It seems like the soil is always wet so maybe I’ll try and get it more humidity
