Hi guys, I need your help with my moon, cactus ever since I downloaded this app my moon cactus started to get root rot and I don’t know how to stop it so I’m gonna put a photo of before and after I download this app I just want to get some help to figure out how to stop the root rot. The first photo is of it after I download this app and the one before is the photo of it before I got the app please help. Thank you.

I have learned to ignore and all my plants thrive so I go every send to third time depending on the plant. Hopefully that helps!

I would watch a video from @\_plantswithkrystal\_ on Instagram to look for help with your problem. She is the queen when it comes to saving cacti. In this video she had to chop off the bottom of the cactus (because it rotted), coated the bottom with sulfur fungicide powder to stop anymore rot, and then she let it callous over for week. Then a week later she repotted it. Yours might not be as bad as the one in this video but she had tons of posts on cacti so I would definitely look through her collection! When I see root rot I immediately pull it out to see the damage and either put it in a super chunky soil mix or I just cut off the roots propagate in water or leca. But I know cacti are different creatures!

Thank you guys I did pull it out to see how bad it really was and it was pretty bad but you know I’ll keep doing my research and keep looking for solutions. Also, I know the girl you were talking about in the video. I’ve watched her videos before and they’ve helped me, but she doesn’t have a moon cactus, so I didn’t see any like advice on that but thank you for the advice.

Thank you I do have some laika In it, but I don’t know if that works the same
