# I didn’t know hibiscus was difficult to handle until I had already…

I didn’t know hibiscus was difficult to handle until I had already bought it. And it is proving true. I don’t know what’s going on. I have used insecticidal soap and neem oil not at the same time but I’ve tried each

My other half is freaking out, thinking the plant has thrips. Thoughts? Return it? New leaves are yellow and there always appears to be some sort of dirt like substance on there but it does get windy here and using insecticidal soap and name oil does make things a little sticky

Should I give up? Any advice? It gets full sun, I water it at least every other day because it does get kind of dry
