# Hey, so does anyone know what I can do to get rid of fungus gnats…

Hey, so does anyone know what I can do to get rid of fungus gnats I’ve tried top dressing that didn’t work, and I tried putting orchid, bark and cinnamon but I still see the adult gnats everywhere

You have to get sticky traps for the adults. Everything you’ve done is to get rid of the larvae in the soil, which is great! But if you don’t catch the flyers then you’ll never beat them.

I part hydrogen peroxide to three parts water. It will kill the gnats and eggs etc and doesn’t hurt the plant.

Water the plant with that mixture. You could also dry the soil out completely before watering again. That will help get rid of them

Neem oil worked for me.

The traps will catch sooo many. But you’ll need to keep them around for about a month. Or at least long enough to catch the eggs that need to hatch from in the soil.
