# Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it . I got this…

Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it . I got this new monstera yesterday from home depot and i saw the wanky leaf and thought it was just severely dehydrated because the soil was so dry. I got home saw it was root bound repotted it and watered it. this morning it wasn't perked up and i inspected for pests but there were none i treated the leaves anyways . It also has part of the leaf thats bent side ways. it also has some crispy brown spots on some of the edges and random brown spots in the middle of the leaf.

This brown spots on the leaves just look likes punctures/scratches that occurred previously, probably while at the store! So you shouldn’t need to worry about them!!

I would just get him in bright indirect light and keep him watered appropriately. I bet he’ll perk up and be great!
