My umbrella tree has been dropping leaves like crazy, huge clumps coming off. There is a good amount of new growth but many of the leaves have brown spots… what’s going on?

looks like root rot from overwatering; have you checked the roots/soil? if it’s soggy, try repotting. clip all soft/squishy/black roots with sterilized scissors, treat the rest with a 2:1 water:hydrogen peroxide mix, then repot in fresh soil and lightly water :)

I was thinking the same… root rot or its a fungus… I sprayed one of my umbrellas for this fungus it’s called black something…🪴
