# I just got this Pepperomia Hope and when it came it had a few leaves…

I just got this Pepperomia Hope and when it came it had a few leaves like this with the white stuff. Anyone know what it is and how I should treat it?

Does it wipe off easily? If so, do that and see if it comes back. If it does, it might be powdery mildew. I spray mine with a baking soda water solution. You eventually have to wipe off the dried baking soda but it does the trick for me. Try googling it. That’s where I got the idea. 😊 I love that plant! It’s one of my very favorites!
