That is what my monstera leaves looked like when it had thrips. Do you see any super tiny white bugs on the leaves?

Do I need to quarantine it? I’m scared it’s gonna get all my other babies!

😭 sorry to hear that!

Yes get it away from your other plants and then check all of them to make sure it hasn’t already spread

To get rid of them I spray down all the leaves with water to get them off as much as possible, then spray the leaves and stems and top of soil with a dish soap water mixture (be sure not to use the kind of soap for grease, it’s too strong). Let it sit like 5 mins then spray it all down again to get the soap off and then I treat with neem oil to prevent their return

Ok! Thank you for being so helpful! I’ll try it as soon as possible!!

Alocasia and colocasia are spider mite magnets. I’d quarantine first. Next treat with a neem oil or insecticidal soap wipe down. Consider treating the soil with systemic insecticide. I’d clean the leaves monthly and check each time you water to make sure there are no pests!
