My cats and dogs LOVE my plants…. a little too much.

I’ll start by saying any and all toxic plants I own are put up and out of reach from all my animals. The ones that are animal safe are struggling because my animals will not leave them alone. My cats shred my once beautiful Majesty Palms leaves and lay in the pot, my dogs take chomps out of my sunflowers outside, no plant is safe and I’m pretty sure one of my cats takes joy in destroying them by the way he meows until I come see whatever new hell he’s unleashed on my plants. Help a girl out

If it were just laying in the pots I’d be more than okay with it! It’s that they destroyyyy the plants for funsies 🥲😂

There are covers you can buy to put on the soil. Otherwise tinfoil is rarely appreciated by cats ☺️

You can try putting coffee grounds in the pots or ginger. This might help with the cats at least

I used to put a small sheet of tin foil on the soil … the sound scared both my cats away! 🪴
