Check for spider mites! They love my prayer plants

how should i go about checking for that?

You can google pictures of spider mites or spider mite damage and then check the your plant (mainly the backs of leaves) for them. Look carefully because they are tiny!

I would do a couple things:
\* check for pests and treat if found
\* repot into a better substrate. For Marantas, I would probably use 50% soil, 30% perlite, 10% bark and 10% charcoal. I would also add worm castings.
\* water with distilled water when 80% dry
\* what window is it on? If too much direct light, I would move it a little further from the window. Some Marantas can be sensitive to too bright of light

Direct light burns their leaves and they love humidity.
Also they like their soil to stay moist.

If the methods above don’t work I’d suggest cutting it and putting it in water they thrive in water very well 👌🏼
