# I bought this pearls and Jade pothos just the other day on clearance,…

I bought this pearls and Jade pothos just the other day on clearance, it had a lot of brown leaves and some yellowing. I removed a lot of the brown and yellow leaves but I’m unsure of what might have caused it. Does anyone know how I can save it?

I’ve never had luck with pearls \& jade, but as this is a rescue, I would snip off dead/yellow leaves as they happen, and otherwise let the plant acclimate to your space in a spot with bright, indirect light abs make sure it isn’t waterlogged or super dry. I once tried to do a bunch of stuff to a new golden pothos right away and it was unhappy for ages.

Also, have you checked the roots and soil? If they’re in bad shape or to soggy/ the wrong kind of soil, it may need that addressed. It’ll likely be unhappy for a bit, just try to make changes as gradually as you can ☺️

monitor it closely and try not to worry too much! pearls and jade is fairly slow growing, so you won’t see overnight success. keep the faith!
