Pls help I’m so confused by my jade plant 😭

when this started months ago I thought he was getting scorched from the sun so I moved him to less sun, but it kept happening. Now I have him in a window with only indirect light and it’s still going on. Then today I found one of the undersides of a leaf looking like this. I also don’t know if the scaliness on the stems are normal??

Any advice is appreciated 😣

The brown at the base of the plant is called corking and it is normal I call it the stretch marks of a hard working plant the leaf in the picture that’s in your hand is not normal it probably got banged on something and the brown at the edges of the leaves is most likely normal wear and tear from being outside

Has it ever been outside? Reminds me of snail feasting. I agree about the corking part. I think that’s how plants protect themselves from the soil and water as they age. I might also agree about the knocking around damage; but wouldn’t hurt to look for slime trails

I moved outside for a day while treating fungus gnats on a different plant, and that’s when I found the weird leaf so maybe that’s what happened to that! The other stuff was there before it was moved outside :(
