# Lesson time 😆 As some are aware, fiddle figs are finicky little…

Lesson time 😆 As some are aware, fiddle figs are finicky little buggers… and I have a bad habit of trying to rescue them 🙃 This sweet girl has pushed out some new leaves, and the red spots freaked me out! Turns out it’s edema from there being more water than the leaves can absorb, so some plant cells burst. As an RN, I am fascinated by this, but I digress 🤪 with consistent watering, the leaves can heal themselves. Wish me luck!

super interesting! I saw some fiddle figs needing rescued at a grocery store here but I steered clear 😂😂 I gave fiddle fig phobia

Rightfully so! Most of the time when they show signs of decline it’s too late to save them 😩
