# Hello again guys!!! Last night I realized Mel’s soil was really dark…

Hello again guys!!! Last night I realized Mel’s soil was really dark so I check her out and the pot had at least 2 inches of settled water in the bottom😬 so I took her out and left her in the plastic pot with holes, sitting atop a towel to hep absorb. Roots look okay to me for now but I’m crazy worried! Any tips?!

The roots look good - you might have gotten away with it! 🤞🏻

😥 I was soooo nervous!! Fingers still crossed 🤞🏽 I’ll check in after work today. I put her in a warmer more dry room just for today to try to help her dry a little more because the towel was soaked!!

As long as you remove as much moister and then water appropriately you should be fine one tip is to either bottom water or water through on a saucer.
