# FUNGUS GNATS: FGs can lay up to 200 eggs per day and each FG may live…

FUNGUS GNATS:  
FGs can lay up to 200 eggs per day and each FG may live 28 days, most of the population exist at varying stages of maturity in the soil.  
So I like to throw the current/infested soil away. Disinfect/wash the pot. Mix “Neem Leaf Powder” and “Mosquito Bits” in with new soil and repot affected plant . Lightly spray foliage and top soil with “Lemongrass Plant Pest Spray” as directed.  
\*\*Disclaimer: This is my best advice based on years of personal experience balancing resolution of the fungus gnat infestation with the least harm/damage to my plants. I am not-nor do I claim to be-an expert\*\* Good Luck! 🍀

I figure it’s the most common cry for help I see on here so might as well preemptively post. If it kills even one more gnat in this world, it’s worth it lol. They always doing the most! 🤢
