# Ahhh 😱 she got spider mites!! After losing 50% of her foliage…

Ahhh 😱 she got spider mites!! After losing 50% of her foliage (🥲☹️), and pruning the rest of the damage, with a nice cold water shower and treatment, hope for the best for me!! She was so full of life and color and now looks so sad 😟 I hopefully caught it in time though.

Ever since I got a grow light, my Fukien tea tree bonsai (also named bonnie) is so much healthier! I have her in a west facing window with a grow light above it. Maybe this could help revive your Bonnie?

That’s a smart idea! I already have the grow light, just probably need to move to a different window!

Same happened to the one I rescued!! He is hanging in there with his four leaves. I noticed some green little growth today so maybe he is coming back! Hang in there! There is hope! Definitely move her closer to the grow light!
