Is my black velvet alocasia supposed to be this dark. I know the name, but other peoples are lighter. How do I tell if it’s healthy.

Yes! It looks healthy :) They should be dark colored, lighter color might mean a less mature plant, Also, new leaves can come in a bit lighter and then darken as they mature.

Keep doing what you’re doing!

Yup. I was so happy to have my newest leaves be almost black in color. Means its getting enough light and maturing and happy. Love the glasses!
