My cat palm leaves are turning yellow and have brown spots. I got the plant about 2 weeks ago. Any advice?

Found some spider mites. Is it worth trying to fight them or just toss the plant?

I always fight lol. Make sure it’s far away from other plants. I usually just wipe daily with a soapy sponge and occasionally with insecticidal soap. Definitely check for new ones daily and wipe off. Any that are super infested just cut off and throw away from other plants. I used to hate cutting leaves off but now that I see how easily most grow back, I don’t have an issue. Brown spot, off, curly, off, yellowing, off! Lol

Natural Neem oil diluted has helped my plants from bugs. I pray them and clean all the leaves and stems carefully.
