# Can anyone tell me what I’m doing wrong with my monstera I’m new to…

Can anyone tell me what I’m doing wrong with my monstera I’m new to plants, all the leaves are curled in. Open to any suggestions, I think it might be root rot but honestly what do I know 🤦🏻‍♀️

Have you checked the root system for rot as you suspect? Usually all the leaves on mine go limp when it’s too dry. Also, clay pots will pull some water. You have to allow water for both the pot and the plant without overwatering.
