i found these 2 strange bumps on the under side of a pothos leaf. i tried to flick off the one towards the bottom and you can see what was underneath the skin. these are only on one leaf, all the others are all normal. anyone know what this might be? my plant app doctors aren’t helping

btw my pothos had a mealybug infestation 2 few weeks ago it wasn’t an emergency situation as i caught them early on and was able to knock them all out in a couple days. appreciate any help !

I’m not sure what type of bug those are but they’re definitely eggs. The black dot looks like that’s where the head would be.

Might be scale?

I think those are Leaf Hopper eggs! They lay their eggs just under the plant tissue and they look exactly like this. Almost identical to your pictures. Definitely still considered a pest though and a good idea to take them off.

omg yes that’s it, great work detective! they are glassy winged sharpshooter eggs and are a big deal here in CA bc of how deadly pierce’s disease is to agriculture. thank u!
