# Hi guys! My name is Lio! Am new to this group :) I have a problem…

Hi guys! My name is Lio! Am new to this group :) I have a problem guys so my plant has mealybugs.She’s a bonsai by the way.  
I have no IDEA how they got on her or how to get them off I’ve tried everything possible she’s not as infested as she was before but any recommendations on what else to do?  
•I’ve repotted her and got her brand new soil  
•I got Neem Oil Spray for Plants Pest Organic Disease Control  
• I’ve tried the Q tip method  
•I’ve tried every method.. they keep coming back  
•I’ve quarantine her from the other plants  
• I wipe her off with the oil every day everytime I see one of the bugs appear in a new spot  
I just don’t want my plant to die🤦🏽‍♀️ am so attach to her already she was my birthday gift this year along with another 2 plants and they’ve been the first plants I’ve ever owned please help me !!!

Hey Lio! I would go in with a qtip and alcohol \& clean all the branches. If your plant is dry I would recommend doing a insecticidal soap spray down and then a good watering shower.

Thank you!! I’ve done the q tile and alcohol but they keep coming back :/

Oh noo!!! Usually if that does happen to one of my babies and they keep coming back. I’d wait till she’s dry, go crazy with some insecticide. Give it about 5-10min and a good water shower should do the trick. When she done soaking up, throw some cinnamon powder. Hopefully them nasty mf don’t come back, or they should start paying rent. 😹
